Friends, I will be speaking at the conference Text / Sound / Performance at University College, Dublin, on April 25th. My talk, entitled “Text / Sound / Performance / Listening,” focuses on questions of sound and listening, intertwining a conversation about the Athabasca watershed in northern Alberta and the work of contemporary poets who listen closely to land and the environment.
